Our BPI/MS Claims Evaluation Center?s (CLEC) Express Claims Service is selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI) President?s Award for 2007!
The MSI President?s Award is given annually to employees or departments of MSI and affiliated companies worldwide considering their outstanding performance. Awardees are selected based on the degree of achievement and innovation, level of contribution to the company?s results, willingness to take on the challenge, positive impact of the service on other employees, and level of social contribution.
Eight awardees from among MSI?s domestic and international offices have received the recognition. Our CLEC has bested seven other overseas nominees and is the only awardee coming from operations outside of Japan.
This award is a testament to the pioneering efforts of BPI/MS in improving claims servicing in order to meet clients? expectations. CLEC Express Claim Service is the ?first of its kind? in the non-life insurance industry as it guarantees a 24-hour turn-around time for motor claims up to P30,000 and two to three working days for motor claims up to P100,000, provide the vehicles are inspected at its drive-in centers.
Launched in August 2006, CLEC continues to receive positive feedback from BPI/MS motor car clients and intermediaries. These feedbacks afforded the employees involved a sense of achievement and boosted their morale and enthusiasm towards work. The enhanced operational efficiency in handling claims contributed significantly in the increase of the company?s motor car portfolio in 2007.
